Just fooling around

I got some work done yesterday and thought I'd treat myself to a little down-time, playing with heart shapes and working up a design. This is the result!

It's in the shape of one of my "Eggs for All Seasons," and sports what I thought turned out to be a neat filigree pattern. What am I going to do with it next? Beats me!

Do nothing. Your faithful stitches will cover the gold filagree with metallic couching and then put beads/silks/wools/silk-wool blends/anything else we have in the centers in a riot of colors and all will be happy again!

Sometimes just fooling around is the best!

This is so very classic Diaper Pattern. On mine, I just use the YLI Ribbon floss - basketweave on the small sections, and long stitcihes on the larger ones - with beads in the little "jeweled" areas. Looks very Faberge'/cloissone.
